American Oystercatcher
This and the adjacent frame were captured on a single pass, the camera's eye detection feature tracking the bird as it made a sweeping pass around me. Unfortunately, this bird was banded; I had to toss all the upstroke frames because I didn't want the metal rings in the images. Here, the near/left wing is just covering the bands. I'm stoked with the dynamic wing position and grass in this, the better IMO, of two shots.
