Hooded Siskin

I caught up with this tiny target at 11,000 feet in Northern Chile, right where the country borders Peru and Bolivia. The rest of the flock was very skittish, but my efforts and patience were rewarded when this male lit on this exposed perch for five seconds. I was stoked to make the brief opportunity count!
