Prothonotary Warbler
I captured this frame during a wonderful morning of birding near Memphis (TN). There was a variety of warblers singing along the forest service road, so I swapped my binoculars for my camera, hung my speaker in a fallen tree, and played a Prothonotary call. This bird responded immediately and assumed the desired perch a few moments later. I wish the green sprig was in focus, but I didn't have enough light to make that happen under the thick canopy. As this is an understory species, I went with a wider view to show the habitat which this bird usually occupies.
