Ring-necked Duck (male)

Nothing terribly different from my other shots of this species - most from this same location - but I like the curious/skeptical, over-the-shoulder look this guy gave me. I also like the gently-blurred suggestion of shoreline in the background. It's pretty amazing that multiple visit to the same location can yield such varied images depending on season and lighting. The reflections produced by the various background plants influence/color the frame differently each time.
