Black-bellied Whistling-Duck

This bird and several others were hanging around the parking lot at the South Padre Island World Birding Center, so I had to go with a tight headshot to keep man-made stuff out of the frame. I mean, a duck walking across asphalt isn't worth much, right? This was my first frame of this species, so I was just glad to get something. Though it can be tough to see in the field, the blue-gray bill nail really stands out in this view.
