Savannah Sparrow

This is the same individual as in the adjacent frame, the one showing the full bird on the lichen-covered rock, albeit at much closer range. I'm happy with this close view of the often-overlooked passerine, but I wish I had closed down to f/8 to increase my depth-of-field and preserve more feather detail on the crown, nape, and chest. Rookie mistake!
