I wasn't expecting much when I arrived at the beach on this foggy evening, so I was stoked the sun found a brief window before dipped behind the horizon. Besides softening the end-of-day rays, the haze bounced the light around and made it possible to capture feather detail on the front side of the backlit subject. So, this was a nice salvage on what I thought was gonna be a useless afternoon.
