Besides imbuing grounded subject with larger-than-life perspective, shooting from a super low angle allows to foreground and background to be blurred in appealing ways. I was unusually successful here, so I decided to go with a wide crop to accentuate the oceanfront habitat. I think it gives the frame a very painterly feel, particularly the distant and out-of-focus breaking wave towards the top.
