This little guy wandered into my field of view while I was shooting a nearby oystercatcher, so it was a rare opportunity to capture a second striking species without doing any extra belly crawling. The oystercatcher had just caught and devoured this sand flea, so it was gutted by the time the subject decided to investigate it. His misfortune made for a fun shot though!
