This photo came out of one of the more interesting birding mornings of my life. Mixed in with a flock of ~30 Marbled Godwits was not only a vagrant Hudsonian Godwit but also a vagrant Bar-tailed Godwit! I spent so much time shooting those species that I almost forgot about the Marbleds! Fortunately, this guy moved away from the flock and yielded a nice image when shot from my low vantage. It was pretty sweet to photograph three godwit species in a morning!
