American Oystercatcher

Another industry standard shot of this species stalking the surf. I liked the foam creeping over the wet sand in the foreground. A lot f the birds at this location are banded, so I took care to seek out individuals without those indicators. It meant a bit more work for me but guaranteed no man-made elements in my frames.
