White Ibis
(Same bird as in the two previous shots) My first proper frame of this beautiful species! My previous shots were opportunistic walk-around captures while I was birding, so it was great to run into this example on a dedicated photo outing. This subject was very confiding once I flopped onto my belly, and I spent the better part of an hour trailing the foraging bird around the tidal shallows. The ruffled feathers resulted from a stiff east wind while the sun set behind me to the west. Stoked about the little water drop falling off the beak!
