Yellow-headed Blackbird
This frame has a bit of peripheral/distracting foliage, but I like it because it's a proper, in-field result without any set-up intention or component. Though he was initially angled away from me, he curled towards me as he belted out his territorial declaration. The sun had barely cracked the horizon, so I was thrilled with the warm tones on the bird and perch. I probably should have bumped the ISO to 1600 to cut the shutter to 1/2000, so I was happy to freeze him in full song with the indicated settings - whew!
