Lesser Scaup - female

My first keeper frame of 2022! I usually try to get my lens right along the water's surface to maximize bokeh and subject isolation, but raising up a few inches allowed me to capture the soft wave texture on this morning. I really like how the browns and yellows work together in this frame.
