American Oystercatcher

This guy was feeding but paused with a raised leg as I crawled through wet sand to meet him. He stood motionless for a few moments before returning to the surf to feed. I had the lens s low as I could get it to generate the super smooth/uniform blue background. I was soaked after the encounter, but it was worth it.
