Ring-necked Duck

I have loads of shots of both sexes of this species, many from this same Stowe Lake location, but I really liked the blended lime-peach water in this frame. This bird was clearly accustomed to being fed; once I laid down on the edge of the lake, he made several passes hoping I'd offer a handout. Many others feed ducks at this location, so it's one of the best to interact with this sometimes-skittish species.
