Greater Roadrunner

I stumbled into this shot while guiding a Tropical Birding tour in New Mexico. This bird was lurking around a local pond, so I suspect the subject sustained himself on handouts from fisherman. He was perched on a concrete wall when we found him, so I went with a headshot to keep the man-made elements out of the frame. The background is clouds reflected on the pond's surface.
