Northern Gannet

This bird flew super close to me as it returned to the colony at Cape St. Mary's Ecological Reserve. This is a full frame image (zero crop), so I was just glad to get the bird positioned in the frame without clipping the wings. There's just enough eye contact to make this a keeper. This topside view showcases the six-foot wingspan nicely!
