Black-headed Bulbul
Normally a canopy bird, this confiding representative was kind enough to present at a deep forest hide outside Kaeng Krachan National Park. Until this close view, I hadn't been able to appreciate the striking blue eye. This was the only decent perch at this particular spot, so I had to recycle it for my shots of Stripe-throated Bulbul and Indochinese Blue Flycatcher (also in this gallery). Lots of low light challenges in these thickly vegetated set-ups!
