Blue Rock-Thrush
This bird was one of the most approachable subjects I've ever photographed, and I suspect the thin green string on his right leg is indicative of a formerly-captive bird. He was totally relaxed as I approached, and he mostly ignore the whistles and clicks I gave in hopes of getting more direct eye contact. The sun had dipped behind a nearby ridge, but there was just enough light to close down to f/8 to ensure crisp focus across the entire bird. The rock perch was perfect!
