To capture this shot, I positioned the car so that my client, sitting in the front passenger seat, had this subject against a perfectly clean background; I then hoped into the back seat and shot out that window. That slightly different shooting angle meant that I picked up specular highlights as the sky shone through the edge of the backing foliage. Fortunately, the highlight behind the bird's head is the faintest of the bunch, and I held onto the frame because it's different from what I already have of this species. I'm sure some will like the highlights while other will hate them. Tough to argue with the bird though!
