Lesser Flamingo
This might be my favorite frame from my 15 days in Namibia. I'd captured many shots of individual flamingos in isolation, so I jumped at the chance to play with the depth-of-field when this bird sauntered in front of those in the distance. If the backing birds were any closer, then they'd detract from the main subject; if they were farther away, then they'd be unrecognizable as flamingos. It was really cool to spend an entire morning on the mud with these incredible birds!
