Giraffe
We saw loads of these elongated beasts in Kruger National Park in South Africa, but it wasn't until we reached the expanses of Etosha National Park in Namibia that I had a completely clear crack at one. I'm not sure where this example was headed -- the habitat looked no different for miles in each direction -- so it was pretty amazing when this massive animal strode directly in front of our car. How the hell anyone could gun down such a beautiful beast in the name of 'sport' is beyond me. A camera is the only way to shoot wild animals!
