Oryx

My favorite antelope, up close and personal! Most Oryx I encountered were wary of approach, so I couldn't believe how cooperative this sunset example was on this evening. The striking animal spent most of its time plucking dried grass from the scorched Earth, but it did give me a nice direct look when I whistled. Super stoked not to clip the horns - a challenging task from this close range!
