Southern Yellow-billed Hornbill

This is admittedly a 'cheap shot' because this bird was lured with food, but I never imagined this encounter when I arrived at this lodge/campground. The owner has been feeding hornbills for years, and they descend on the property twice each day in anticipation of handouts. With the greedy birds perching on lawn chairs, metal sculptures, and fenceposts, I had to settle for headshot to keep the unnatural objects out of the frame. It would have been nice to set-up some proper perches (i.e. branches), but I had only one morning at this location.
