White-tailed Shrike
Looking through the field guide ahead of my Namibia trip, I noted this tiny bird as one I really wanted to see; I liked the bold patterning, and I thought the yellow eye demanded attention. So, when this representative appeared at the roadside while I was driving, I jumped out of the vehicle and pursued it into the surrounding habitat. The bird spent most of its time poking around in the grass but did offer a clearer view when it landed on this rock. I would usually ask for a bit more head turn and direct eye-contact, but I relaxed those demands against the nice view of the surrounding habitat.
